Dan Corey

US Army Veteran

Leading through service is his mission. Dan Corey is a dedicated finance specialist with extensive operational leadership experience in both civilian and military backgrounds.

Inspired by the emergency response after Hurricane Sandy, Corey answered the call of duty to his community by joining the New Jersey Army National Guard in 2017. He proudly served with the 1/102D CAV of the New Jersey National Guard and 98th IN DIV of the US Army Reserve. 

During Operation COVID Guardian, Dan led critical missions, including state vaccination efforts and the rehabilitation of a state veterans home, ensuring its full operational capacity. These missions helped ignite a fire in Dan to contunue helping his fellow soldiers and their families.

In his civilian profession, Dan works in the energy sector, specializing in financial analysis, project management, and infrastructure development. His operational experise facilitated collaborations with Fortune 500 companies, state and federal agencies, and international organizations to support American energy independence.

Dan Corey’s militry and civilian careers are just the start of what makes him an exceptional leader. A pillar of his local Glen Rock community, he was recently elected to serve as trustee on the Glen Rock Board of Education. A role that remains true to his heart as he believes education is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children. Both husband and father to 3 young boys, Dan is commited to ensuring equitable education and access to comunity programs like the Boy Scouts of America where he proudly leads Cub Scout Pack 27. He is also a certified motorcycle riding instructor and FAA-licensed pilot. 

Dan is taking his community leadership to the next level by spearheading The New Jersey Veteran Support Alliance’s fundraising goals. His ability to direct operations ensure funding and resources are going to have the most impact.
